INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARING THE SEMAGLUTIDE (2mg example)
• You will need: 2mg Semaglutide (powder) vial, 1ml insulin syringe, alcohol swabs and a vial of bacteriostatic water.
• Remove the caps from the Semaglutide and bacteriostatic water vials and disinfect the rubbers with an alcohol swab.
• Draw 2ml (200 units) of Bac water in the syringe and slowly add it to the Semaglutide vial.
• Gently swirl the vial (don’t shake), until the powder disappears.
• Prepare one vial at a time and keep it refrigerated once mixed.
• 0.25mg should be 25 units on the insuline needle which would make 8 shots total (2mg / 0.25mg = 8 shots)
INJECTING THE SEMAGLUTIDE (2mg example)
• Disinfect the vial and injection site (area around belly-button) with an alcohol swab.
• With the vial upside down, draw the required dose into the insulin syringe.
• Pinch and hold the skin and insert the needle at a slight angle.
• Inject the Semiglutide slowly and steadily.
• Remove the needle and massage the injection site for 20 seconds.
• Dispose of the used syringe and store the vial back in the fridge.
